A Day At Fontainebleau by Oxana Niki

If you’ve never stayed at the iconic Fontainebleau Miami Beach, you must have seen it in movies like Scarface, Goldfinger and The Bodyguard, as well as numerous magazine features, music videos and Instagram snaps. Even though I live in Miami, I often treat myself and my family to a fun day at this remarkable resort. For non hotel guests, they offer  “A Day at the Fontainebleau” package, which starts with a signature spa treatment at Lapis Spa, followed by lunch at La Côte and a full day use of their gym, pool and beach facilities, as well as 10% savings at the Shops at Fontainebleau or online.

Lapis Spa

This 40,000 square foot adults-only luxurious spa features 30 private treatment rooms and contemporary space with restorative healing water therapies. You may want to spend a whole day enjoying mineral pools, massage-jet showers, eucalyptus steam baths and marble chaises by the pool. Treatments include outstanding facials, ocean-inspired wraps and massage therapies like 50-minute Swedish Massage treatment that is included in the “A Day at FB package”. I upgraded my treatment to their newest “Deep Massage with CBD and Lavender” which was like a muscle therapy with a use of high potency CBD oil sourced from organically grown hemp plant and infused with anti-inflammatory lavender.

La Côte

Inspired by the Côte d’Azur, La Côte – a chic, two-level, open-air restaurant – offers guests a Mediterranean menu that celebrates the joie de vivre and flavorful cuisine of the South of France as well as a lively bar with fashionable cocktails and Mediterranean-style snacks. Delicious food, relaxed environment and panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean are the reasons why La Côte is our favorite restaurant at Fontainebleau. Guests who book “A Day at the FB package” can enjoy a prix-fixe two-course lunch. Menu can be found here.

Pool

With 11 distinctive pool experiences like an interactive children’s waterscape and slide and free-form pool, there is something for everyone! We reserved a full-service cabana by the kids pool where we relaxed in our private daybed while watching my daughter splash around with other kids. The hostess frequently stopped by to take our food and drinks order.

A Day at Fontainebleau package is priced at $185 per person. Guests can book it in person at Lapis Spa or by calling 1-866-750-4772.
