Fontainebleau Miami Beach is a community-driven organization, knowing that if it is good for our community, it is good for us. As part of a generational business, this is at the core of everything we do. Our Bleau Cares platform is designed to serve this core value as it is boundless, unlimited, and self-sustaining. As part of our Bleau Cares initiatives, our team members participated in the Style Saves’ 9th Annual ‘Back-To-School’ event that took place at Mana Wynwood Convention Center on August 17th and 18th. Providing 7,500 underprivileged students with the necessities required to succeed in this upcoming school year during two full days of carnival-themed fun.
The goal of this annual event is to diminish the stress of going back to school from lower-income families, while also ensuring each child starts their first day with confidence. Every student had the chance to shop for brand new uniforms, shoes, backpacks, and school supplies from brands like Puma, Sketchers, Jordache, Fast Forward, State Bags, Juntos Project and Office Depot.
About Style Saves: Founded by FORD fashion stylist, Rachael Russell, Style Saves started with a small idea: build confidence through clothes. Style Saves is an organization founded in Miami that raises funds to provide students & families in need with necessities for school, prom, graduation, holiday, disaster relief, & more. Style Saves raises funds to allocate to underprivileged students in the South Florida area. In collaboration with The Miami Foundation, Style Saves works with local retail stores, designers and boutiques to provide these students with brand-new outfits for back-to-school.
