As General Manager of Pool Operations at Fontainebleau, Miami native Ivan Licata brings over 15 years of experience to the resort following a proven track record while working at reputable restaurants and resorts such as Houston’s, The Biltmore and the Mandarin Oriental all while pursuing his Bachelor’s degree from FIU in Hospitality Management. Ivan credits his transition into his current leadership role by having mazing mentors in Luis Castro, Assistant Director of Food and Beverage and Richard Torres Director of Casual Dining. Along with his passion for hospitality, Ivan enjoys traveling, watching and playing soccer and spending time family.
Who has inspired you in your life and why?
My Stepfather who was also my role model. He was an outstanding business man, father, and husband.
Where have you traveled & lived around the world?
I’ve been fortunate to travel to many countries in the Americas, Europe, and the Caribbean.
